Full Description
Equipped with 36 double-sided blades, this two-way grater generates twice the output without clogging. Constructed of polished stainless steel, the long slender cutting surface measures 8 by 1 inches, and produces medium-sized ribbons from its 3/8-inch blade openings. Perfect for semi-hard cheeses and chocolate, Microplane’s tool works equally well grating pie-crust butter or shredding coleslaw cabbage. The handle, constructed of durable black plastic, contours to the hand for a comfortable hold, and features an open loop providing the option of hanging storage. To prevent dulling when not in use, cover with the accompanying clear plastic blade guard--simply squeeze to slightly curl guard towards its center and slide over grater blade.
